PR Team – Golden Gavel Speech Competition 2010

Mission Statement:

  The mission of the PR team is to support the Golden Gavel Speech Competition by giving more visibility to the general public. We will also assist in recruiting contestants, volunteers and audience members.

Vision:

Through several media the PR team will raise the profile of the Golden Gavel Speech Competition within the community.Media will include a website, posters, displays, newspapers, radio, personal presentations and word of mouth.

Target audience for contestants will be organizations with a high number of people who are just developing their public speaking skills.

Target audience for volunteers will be organizations who already have members participating in the community.

Target audience for the contest audience is the general public, Toastmasters clubs and community leadership organizations.
